NEET PG 2026 photo requirements from NBE: passport-size (3.5×4.5 cm), JPEG, between 10 KB and 100 KB, white background. The 100 KB maximum is stricter than NEET UG — many doctors preparing for PG entrance miss this detail. Use PhotoFit to compress your photo to exactly 80–90 KB for a safe, quality upload. NEET PG 2026 (conducted by NBE) requires a passport-size photograph of 3.5×4.5 cm. The file must be JPEG format, between 10 KB and 100 KB. Note that the maximum is 100 KB — stricter than NEET UG's 200 KB limit. Use PhotoFit to compress to 80–90 KB for a safe upload.
NEET UG (NTA) allows up to 200 KB. NEET PG (NBE) caps at 100 KB — exactly half. Both require JPEG format and white background passport-size photos. If you have already prepared a photo for NEET UG, check its file size; if it is over 100 KB, compress it before using for NEET PG.
WhatsApp compresses photos but may save them as JPEG at varying quality. A WhatsApp photo may work if it is: white background, passport style, recent, JPEG format, and 10–100 KB. However, quality can be inconsistent. A fresh studio photo or a properly captured phone photo is more reliable.
Open PhotoFit, go to Compress, upload your photo, set target to 90 KB, and download. Going to 90 KB instead of exactly 100 KB gives a safety margin for any minor file size variation during portal upload. The quality difference between 110 KB and 90 KB JPEG is invisible to the eye.
